Outreach activities

Our group is actively involved in outreach education activities, including the annual South Dakota Science Olympiad competition since 2009. Our favorite topic is “Crime Buster” for middle school kids. Anji and Justin have been involved in these activities every year. Jeff, an IGERT student, is involved in “Solar Fuels” activities with Native American students from Nebraska Indian Community College (NICC).

We are also involved in the “Solar Energy Capture, Storage, and Utilization” workshop at the Nebraska Indian Community College for Native American students.
